We deliver wide variety of projects which use sport in some way to attract and hook C&YP to our provisions and enable them to gain benefits from our services.

 

Sports in Schools

 

We deliver a sport in schools programme which involves morning, after school and

lunchtime sport clubs, PE, PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover, sports day

and teacher training. Our work in schools focuses on providing students with the chance

to experience and enjoy different types of activities at whatever level is right for them,

maximising the impact that PE and sport can have on increasing achievement and

attainment, improving health and fitness, developing motor, life and social skills, and

fostering positive peer relationship. 

 

Holiday Camps

 

 

                                              During the school holidays we run a multi-sports, football and cheerleading camp. Our                                                         camps are enjoyable sessions of sport and recreational activities which attracts                                                                       over 1000 children each year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sunday Sports

 

At the weekends we deliver weekly football and basketball training sessions. These fun

sessions encourage regular participation, improve sporting ability, health and fitness,

self-confidence and social interactions.

 

 

HR United Football Club & Tournaments

 

                                                    Linked to this, HR Sports Academy has an under 10s football team, runs a basketball                                                                                                 and football league and quarterly sport tournaments. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Womens Basketball

 

We also deliver a female only sport session to help increase the participation rate of

females within the borough. We have on average 30 females taking part in this

programme.

 

 

Apprenticeships and traineeships 

 

                                        We run an apprenticeship and traineeship programme. These programmes give the learners a                                           chance to work towards a qualification, gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in                                                 their chosen industry. This hands-on training enables the young person to earn as they learn,                                             put your skills into practice and helps them to gain more confidence in a working environment.                                         

 

 

 

Employment and work experience

 

We works in partnership with Haringey Education Business Partnership which is a service

that provides placements for secondary schools in Haringey. We provide work experience

placements for students, with a focus on creating personal, social and work related

learning. In addition, we offer work experience placements for individuals who contact

us independently.

 

Coach development programme

 

 

                                     We deliver a coach development programme for young people aged between 13-21 year olds.                                            The programme develops coaching skills and knowledge, and a range of generic skills which are                                        valued by employers through theoretical and practical sessions. 

 

 

 

 

Birthday Parties

 

We help your child celebrate their birthday by creating the perfect safe and fun filled

celebration,  wirhout the stress of organising your child's birthday party

 

 

Family Fun Days

 

 

                                               We also deliver day events for children and their families.

                                               Our annual family fun day includes a range of fun activities

                                               for the whole family.
